The Jewish Film Institute will co-present the Israeli narrative film One Week and a Day at the 39th Mill Valley Film Festival, October 6-16. The film, which won the International Critic’s Week Award at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, screened this summer at the 36th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival.

The new documentary about high tech, political hustle, gentrification, and the future of cities is directed by Deborah Kaufman, who founded the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival in 1980, and Alan Snitow.
