Every Time We Say Goodbye

World War II: David (Tom Hanks), an American pilot and the son of a minister, falls in love with Sarah, a Sephardic Jew living in Jerusalem. Her family strenuously objects to their relationship, and Sarah's rebellion against convention is the core of the story. This is a soap opera, but a must-see for its authentic Ladino (Hebrew-Spanish) dialogue.
