Late Summer Blues

During Israel's War of Attrition with Egypt in 1970, a group of counterculture high school graduates see themselves as cannon fodder in an endless war. They spend a last, intense summer together before being drafted into the Israeli army. An honest, irreverent drama that has been described as a modern version of the sacrifice of Isaac - from the point of view of Isaac. A runaway hit in Israel.
