THE 39TH SAN FRANCISCO JEWISH FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCESEARLY BIRD PASSES AND SHABBAT DINNER TICKET SALES
SAN FRANCISCO, May 10, 2019 - The Jewish Film Institute (JFI) announced today that the 39th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (SFJFF) will open on Thursday, July 18th at the Castro Theatre. Early Bird Festival Passes will be on sale beginning Thursday May 16, 2019 at 10:00 am. Passes will be exclusively available at sfjff.org/early-bird.
For the second consecutive year, the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival Annual Shabbat Dinner on July 19 at the San Francisco City Hall North Light Court, is also open to the community, with ticket sales available through sfjff.org/shabbat beginning Thursday May 16, or by contacting development staff directly. Single tickets are available for $135 per ticket ($125 for JFI members) and tables for ten may be purchased for $1250. This candle lighting ceremony and celebration welcomes the guests of the 39th annual festival to San Francisco with a cocktail reception followed by an elegant shabbat dinner.
The Festival will return to the Bay Area July 18th to August 4th, 2019. Now in its 39th year, the Festival, the first and largest of its kind, will welcome an audience of over 40,000 attendees at the Castro Theater in San Francisco [July 18-28] , the Landmark Albany Twin in Albany [July 25 - Aug 1] , the CinéArts Theatre in Palo Alto [July 20-25], the Christopher B. Smith Rafael Film Center in San Rafael [Aug 2-4], and the Landmark Piedmont Theatre in Oakland [Aug 2-4]. The complete lineup of films and special events at the 39th edition of the Festival will be announced Tuesday, June 18th.
Early Bird Festival Passes are available online only at sfjff.org/early-bird beginning Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 10:00am. Passes will be available at a discounted rate of $385 for general public and $355 for JFI members. Ticket prices go up on Tuesday, June 18, 2019.
