What does it mean if a show is AT RUSH?
When advance tickets are no longer available, a limited number of rush tickets may be available at the door. Rush tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis depending on how many seats are available after passholders and advance ticket-holders are admitted. Rush tickets are normally sold 10 minutes prior to the screening. Acceptable payment methods are cash, credit card and applicable vouchers.
When should I arrive at the theater for my movie?
Ticket and pass holders must arrive at least 20 minutes prior to showtime to guarantee admission. Ticket or pass holders arriving less than 20 minutes prior to showtime cannot be guaranteed a seat, even with a ticket or a pass. Upon arrival, look for the hold-out lines marked as either Pass Holder or Ticket Holder, join the line, and wait until the theater is ready for seating.

Sometimes! If a Q&A with a filmmaker is available in the JFI Digital Screening Room, it will autoplay after the credits end on the film. Check each film description to note whether a Q&A is available for that particular program. You are able to fast-forward the credits to begin the Q&A early if desired.

These geoblocking restrictions are negotiated with representatives from each film, as these JFI showings are often the premiere of their film or a very early showing of the film and are therefore limited before the film’s official release.
All SFJFF42 streaming titles are geoblocked to the San Francisco Bay Area.
