WinterFest, presented by the Jewish Film Institute, is a showcase of independent films that expand and evolve the Jewish story for audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area. An exciting mid-year complement to the summer's annual San Francisco Jewish Film Festival, WinterFest features new release titles fresh from festivals like TIFF, the Berlinale, Sundance, Telluride, and more.
The JFI Grants program provides finishing funds to emerging and established filmmakers for original stories that promote thoughtful consideration of Jewish history, life, culture, memory, and identity. Projects eligible for consideration include narratives, documentaries, shorts, episodic programs, or web series.
