In an increasingly divided world, film has a role to play in connecting people and communities around the issues that define our moment. Focusing on subjects like abortion rights, gun violence, racial injustice, food systems, and human rights, these films respond to the urgency of our times and embolden us to take concrete action to repair the world.

Plan C (Take Action Spotlight)

Francine Coeytaux, co-director of the grassroots organization Plan C, organizes an extraordinary group of activists and medical professionals in the fight to expand nationwide access to the abortion pill regardless of the consequences.

The U.S. Supreme Court decision Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in June 2022 sparked a national response, particularly in the Jewish community. Inspired by the lived experiences of Jewish women, lawsuits are currently being launched by rabbis, Jewish organizations and interfaith leaders to challenge the overturning of Roe v. Wade on the grounds of religious freedom.
