The Feldmann Case

Part film noir murder mystery, part courtroom drama, THE FELDMANN CASE is a dramatic retelling of the true story of Jacob and Rachel Feldmann, an elderly Jewish couple murdered while fleeing Occupied Norway in 1942. After the war, a dashing journalist and a spineless prosecutor take on the case in a remote village. They encounter romance, local thugs, and hostile sheriffs as they begin to unravel an official cover-up designed to protect the Norwegian underground. A very stylish and visually exciting film. The production of THE FELDMANN CASE was the subject of numerous lawsuits in Norway, where it shed new light on European resistance and the Jews.
