Cancer in Two Voices

"I am the first among our friends to have cancer. Many of my friends will see their future in the way I handle mine," wrote Barbara Rosenblum after learning she had advanced breast cancer in 1985. She and her partner, Sandy Butler, made a political decision to document the process of their lives for the three remaining years of Barbara's life. With searing honesty about their interior struggles and emotions, these two Jewish women offer an inspiring example of a way to live consciously, authentically and lovingly in the face of death.
