Full Description
Tel Aviv is a city that never sleeps. But an Arab and a Jew working together on a drag show sounds more like New York, Paris or Barcelona. In Israel it sounds like a fantastic story. It is actually the story of Samy Gaber, Palestinian-Israeli from Jaffa, and Michael Shimeon, a Yemenite Jew from the religious village of Bnai-Darom. Both came to Tel Aviv because as gay men, they could not see their lives anywhere else in Israel. What they found were adoring audiences, glamorous costumes, and the tensions that exist between different ethnic and national groups in Israel.
