Interlove Story

A personal, reflective piece, INTERLOVE STORY tells of the marriage between the filmmaker's Catholic mother and Jewish father, exposing her own conflicting emotions about her place in Judaism and the consequences of marrying outside the faith.
Anne Flatté is an independent documentary filmmaker based in San Francisco. A graduate of Stanford Universityís masters program in documentary film and video, she has produced and directed films, videos and television programs since1993. Independent work has shown on local PBS (Interlove Story, 1995) and won numerous festival awards. As a staff producer/director for Stanford University, she created several documentaries for the Stanford Channel (Yahoo!, 1997; Becoming Stanford, 1999) and other educational distributors (Insight Media). Other production credits include History of Rock and Roll, (BBC-PBS,1995) and the Twentieth Century Project (Disney/Showtime,1999). She holds a bachelor of arts in Middle Eastern Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. She is currently working on a documentary that explores the nature of enemy relationships through the lens of the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
