Moses vs. Godzilla

Made by a team of animators while they were working on THE PRINCE OF EGYPT, this faux trailer uses high tech animation to parody THE TEN COMMANDMENTS and THE CLASH OF THE TITANS.
Brad’s first film experience was as a production assistant on Jonathan Demme’s Something Wild, starring Jeff Daniels and Melanie Griffith, which was shot in his hometown of Tallahassee, Florida. Shortly thereafter, he moved to Hollywood, where he worked on several live action films, television commercials and music videos in such varying capacities as P.A., storyboard artist and set dresser. In 1991, he was hired as a designer for the television series Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures, produced by DIC Animation. From there, he spent almost three years as a background designer at Marvel Films on the Fox Spider-Man series before moving to DreamWorks Television Animation in 1996. There, he lobbied for the creation of a computer graphics department to handle effects for the Warner Brothers mini-series, Invasion America, which is where his interest in computer generated imagery began. A year later, he was hired at DreamWorks Feature Animation, where he worked on The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado and their upcoming release, Spirit. Brad worked in the Layout department, creating both traditional 2D layouts as well as 3D animatics, using the computer to generate digitally animated sequences from the movie before sending the scenes to final animation. After ten years in the animation industry, Brad left DreamWorks in September of 2000 to pursue a career in live action. He recently completed work on the broadcast graphics for an upcoming 13-episode wildlife documentary series, Saving the Endangered Species. In addition to his artistic interests, Brad is currently developing several screenplays as well as a proposal for an anthology television series. His first short, Moses Vs. Godzilla, was conceived as a crash-course in learning how to combine live-action filmmaking with digital effects. He served not only as the writer-director-producer, but also as the movie’s sole visual effects artist as well. MVG can be seen on the Internet at www.MediaTrip.com.
