Full Description
A young Israeli woman made this compelling personal documentary about a Bedouin family on the West Bank. She grew up thinking there was no human life in the beautiful expanse of desert outside her window. But when she learns of the imminent expulsion of Bedouin people from their traditional home just a few kilometers away, she decides to visit them and hear about their hopes and fears and their struggle against the Israeli government. The filmmaker’s view of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is changed as she comes to grips with a reality that had been hidden from her when she was a child.
