THE JEWS OF DJERBA & A PILGRIMAGE TO GHRIBA are documentary studies of Jews who left Palestine after the destruction of the Temple in 586 B.C. to settle on an island off the coast of Tunisia. Their twenty five hundred year-old culture remained intact and their traditions were practiced until modern civilization reached them in this generation.
