Israel and Palestine are in a constant state of war. Naama's ex cheated on her at a monument for fallen IDF soldiers. Her parents are feuding. Every month, her body prepares for pregnancy. Gripped by a paralyzing fear for the fate of her future children, Naama returns to the same monument where the infidelity took place; there, her parents appear before her. When their conversation hits a dead end, she dares to imagine a new reality of communication and peace.

Naama Shohet - Director: Naama is a documentary filmmaker and animator, based in Tel Aviv. She is a graduate with honors from the Screen-Based Arts Department at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. Naama has been awarded the Sir Jack Lyons Outstanding Students Award by the Jerusalem Foundation (2018), the Sharet Scholarship from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation (2019). Her film Boxes (2017) won the Ostrovsky Award for Experimental Cinema at the Jerusalem Film Festival. Her film Dreams of Elsewhere (2018) won the Best Experimental Film award at the Jerusalem Film Festival and was also featured at Annecy Animation Festival. Her film Three Things Lost (2019) received an honourable mention at the Jerusalem Film Festival 2020 and at the 2021 EPOS Festival and was showcased in a solo exhibition at HaMidrasha Gallery in Tel Aviv. Naama also edits short animated films, including Oscar® Shortlisted Black Slide (Uri Lotan, 2021).
