Varda never forgave her mother, Yehudit, for failing to love her. When her daughter Rotem discovers Yehudit’s hidden archive, she drags Varda into an unexpectedly funny, painfully honest three-generation conversation—insisting on a reconciliation only cinema can make possible.

Rotem Dimand - Director: Rotem is a graduate of the Sam Spiegel Film and Television School with outstanding excellence. Her work spans editing, cinematography, and visual research. Her short documentary THE SILHOUETTE OF BRAIDS received Second Prize at Docaviv, was shortlisted for the BAFTA Student Film Awards, and screened at international festivals. She is currently completing her debut feature documentary, THE WOMAN WHO DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO LOVE, which participated in NFCT’s Women’s Documentary Lab and DocAviv’s Doc Lab TLV.
