Born in 1968 in Haifa, Israel, director Ron Carmeli worked as a Stills Photographer for various newspapers and as an Assistant Cameraman in TV News.
He studied at the Sam Spiegel Film & Television school, Jerusalem, since 1991, specializing in cinematography and directing. He graduated with honors in 1996. Personal Goals is his diploma film.
