The Operations Intern will support the Operations and Production initiatives for the 39th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival (July 18 - August 4, 2019). Interns who are interested in learning about festival production will have a hands-on experience during this year’s SFJFF. JFI & SFJFF internships are meaningful positions for both those with prior experience in the field of film, event planning, communications, media, and as well as those seeking to gain new experience. Position runs June 1 – August 9, 2019 (Dates are flexible depending on candidate’s availability)
The 38th San Francisco Jewish Film Festival is seeking a motivated, experienced individual to provide programming, logistical and administrative support to the programming department and coordinates hospitality (travel, hotel and schedule) for guests of the Festival.
The Venue Manager is a part of the Theater Operations team and is responsible for providing exceptional support to all San Francisco Jewish Film Festival patrons and guests.

The Filmmaker Services Manager (FSM) will serve as the primary lead and key liaison for all JFI’s filmmaker services as well as researching, recommending and piloting new filmmaker services. The Filmmaker Services Manager is a full-time exempt position. Peak periods and special events including the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival may require occasional evenings and weekends.
The Jewish Film Institute is seeking a Director of Operations to oversee the full scope of JFI’s program and event production needs as well as general organizational operations
The DFO is a hands-on leader and a member of the senior team, responsible for the administrative aspects of JFI in reaching its organizational goals and financial stability. The DFO will be a strategic thought-partner and report to the Executive Director (ED). The DFO provides financial management of JFI and provides oversight and hands-on management to accounting, HR, and Program and Organizational Operations. The DFO supervises the Office Coordinator and Festival Operations Director. S/he will play a critical role in partnering with the senior leadership team in strategic decision-making and operations as JFI continues to enhance its quality programming and build capacity as a Film Institute. The ideal candidate will have advanced organizational skills, business acumen, strong interpersonal and communications skills, non-profit experience, and be excited about working for a dynamic arts organization. This position is an opportunity for a finance and operations leader to impact a well-respected, media arts organization within the Bay Area’s thriving arts community as it continues to grow and serve new constituents.
