What does it mean if a show is AT RUSH?
When advance tickets are no longer available, a limited number of rush tickets may be available at the door. Rush tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis depending on how many seats are available after passholders and advance ticket-holders are admitted. Rush tickets are normally sold 10 minutes prior to the screening. Acceptable payment methods are cash, credit card and applicable vouchers.
When should I arrive at the theater for my movie?
Ticket and pass holders must arrive 20 minutes prior to show-time to guarantee admission. Ticket or pass holders arriving less than 20 minutes prior to showtime cannot be guaranteed a seat, even with a ticket or a pass. Upon arrival, look for the hold out lines marked as either Pass holder or Ticket holder and wait until the theater is ready for seating.
Our diverse membership community makes JFI's year-round and SFJFF programs possible. Membership starts as low as $60 and includes pre-sale access to all events, exclusive invitations year-round, significant discounts on passes and tickets, and much more.

What can I expect when I arrive at the theater?
All WinterFest venues have pass holder and ticket holder holdout lines where pass holders and ticket holders wait until the theater is ready to seat. When you arrive at a festival venue, please look for a JFI staff member or volunteer who will direct you to the appropriate line. While waiting in line, please be considerate of our neighbors and local businesses. We remind patrons that it's now illegal to smoke while waiting in line or near entrances to venues.
Passholders and ticket holders attending back-to-back programs may be asked to exit the theater and rejoin the holdout lines at the JFI staff's discretion in order to clean the theater, conduct testing of film and media, and any other needs so as to provide the best experience to all attendees of WinterFest.
All seats are general admission, and multiple seat-saving is not permitted. Select seats may be saved by JFI for filmmakers and other guests of the festival. We ask that you observe reserved seating signage by not removing signage. Please choose a seat in an unreserved section.
JFI believes in everyone's right to choose the restroom they are most comfortable using; please disregard any exclusionary signage that may be visible at our venues.
Please refrain from wearing perfumes and other scented products so that attendees with environmental sensitivities can comfortably enjoy the films.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed in any WinterFest venue. We ask that you respect the venue policies and purchase food and beverages from the venues concessions stands.
I have mobility challenges. What should I do?
The Jewish Film Institute is committed to accommodating audience members with disabilities, offering seating waiting areas and early seating as needed and wherever possible. Upon arrival at the venue, please check in with a venue manager for assistance. All screening venues have wheelchair accessible seating and restrooms.
