Homage to Chagall - The Colours of Love

This beautiful film documents the life and work of Marc Chagall. Born in Russia, Chagall traveled to Paris, where he made his home after the Revolution. Chagall modestly describes his paintings as a "pictorial arrangement of images that obsess me." Director Harry Rasky's HOMAGE opens wonderfully with Chagall's Vitevsk fiddlers and Parisian lovers, his primitive mysticism and his cubist vision. Winner of fifteen international prizes and nominations.
Harry Rasky has been called the world’s most acclaimed non-fiction filmmaker. He has been twice nominated for the Oscar and has six Emmy Awards. He is the winner of 200 International prizes. The 92nd Street in New York held a retrospective of his works calling him “the poet with the camera.” He is also an author and lecturer. His works are the subject of study at several major universities.
