Sosua is a unique community in the Dominican Republic founded fifty years ago as a haven for Jews fleeing Europe. Interviews with Sosua's residents, observations of their work and celebrations - including a spirited Latin Seder and archival footage of Sosua's early days - provide insight into this productive community, as young and old express a wide range of opinions about what it means to be a Jew and what the future holds for Sosua.

Edited hundreds of toy commercials for Hasbro, including Star Wars, Batman, G.I.Joe product lines; music videos; industrials; medical videos; documentaries notably Mondo Miami which appeared on PBS and independent features such as "The Deviants." Edited and co-directed performance piece titled "The Real Deal" about the poetry readings of Vietnam veteran Marc Levy. Edited short film "Shelter" recent winner at Westchester Film Festival. Curently at work on a docmentary about the Jewish community of Gombin, in Poland.
FREELANCE 1984 Produced, directed and edited "The Queen of Off-Off Broadway" a film about the legendary theatrical producer Lucille Lortell.
ENGLAND 1981-1983 Foreign language editor on such films as "Fitzcarraldo" and "Diva.", Harriet Taub - Director of Sosua, currently the Director of Materials for the Arts in New York City. Spent the last 20 years raising two kids, working in the garment business and now in the non-profit world. One person in the business is enough and that is Harry Kafka.
