To jump or not to jump . . . Director Zohar Lavi examines the borders of fear and courage in this creative drama.
From 2008 Festival: Director, Israel Zohar Lavi was born in Israel in 1974. She began making short films in high school before serving in the Video Production Unit of the Israeli Army’s Intelligence Force. Lavi then studied Film and TV at Tel Aviv University. In 2000, her thesis film “Hot” won the Israeli competition of the 7th Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival. Over the next four years Lavi produced and directed films for a variety of clients and audiences. In 2004, she served as director of the 10th Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival, the biggest festival of its kind. Lavi came to New York in September 2004 and is finishing up her MFA in Film from Columbia University.
