What is geoblocking?
Some virtual screenings presented by the Jewish Film Institute are only viewable in certain regions, similar to the restricted access that would be available for in-theater screenings. These geoblocking restrictions are negotiated with representatives from each film, as these JFI showings are often the premiere of their film or a very early showing of the film and are therefore limited before the film’s official release.

All WinterFest 2022 films are available for streaming from February 26 through March 6, 2022 in the JFI Digital Screening Room. Once you begin a film, you will have a 72-hour watch window unless otherwise noted to complete your viewing before access is disabled. Please note that select films are subject to viewing limits and geoblocking, with restrictions noted on each film's webpage.
A watch window is how long you have to watch a film once you hit ‘PLAY’.

The number of tickets we have available for purchase are negotiated with representatives from each film, as these JFI showings are often the premiere of their film or a very early showing of the film and are therefore limited before the film’s official release.
No. Your account is unique to you. A friend/family member must purchase their own pass to watch on their device. If a passholder shares their account, their account will be revoked and that purchase will not be refunded.
No. JFI WinterFest passholders will be sent unique login credentials to watch all films on the Jewish Film Institute channel available on Roku and Apple TV devices or via watch.jfi.org. Instructions to create your login credentials will be sent via a few days before the Festival begins on February 26, with customer support representatives available to assist you with your tech before films become available.
Tickets are available to purchase for individual films on this page. Ticket pricing for select programs may vary. Ticket packages are not available for WinterFest 2022. If you plan to stream multiple films, the WinterFest Pass is the best value option to enjoy all that the Festival has to offer.

Email boxoffice@jfi.org or call the Box Office at 415.621.0568. Tickets and memberships can be purchased over the phone with the Box Office between 10am-4pm PT, Monday-Friday.
How do I pick up the tickets/passes I purchased?
Once your order is completed, you will receive a confirmation email from boxoffice@jfi.org. Be sure to check your spam folder if you do not receive a confirmation email within a few minutes of completing your transaction.
Streaming Films for Ticketholders. A 9-digit voucher code is included in your Box Office confirmation email. If you plan to stream the film from your personal device (e.g. computer, iPad, laptop etc.), click on the code to be taken directly to the film's page and start watching. If you plan to watch the film via the Jewish Film Institute app on your Roku or Apple TV device, note the 9-digit code and enter it where prompted on the app's homescreen, after you've added the JFI app to your channels.
Streaming Films for Passholders. After purchasing your pass, you will receive an email from hello@cinesend.com (usually within a few hours of your purchase) with an invitation to create your Screening Room account. Please note that your JFI membership ID and password will not work t login to the Screening Room. Once you've set your username and password, sign into the Screening Room at watch.jfi.org on your personal device or via the Jewish Film Institute app on your Roku or Apple TV device.
